About TANLock
TANLocket GmbH was founded 2018 as FATH Mechatronics GmbH and was a company of the medium-sized FATH group of companies with its German headquarters in the Franconian Lake District of Georgensgmünd (Bavaria). Since 1.7.2025 TANlock GmbH is a part of the DormaKaba-Group.
The company develops, produces and markets mechatronic products and in 2018 successfully launched the innovative locking system for server cabinets ‘TANlock’ on the market. The intelligent access control system TANlock makes a valuable contribution to the security of the critical IT infrastructure, directly at the server cabinet.FATH Mechatronics GmbH has already received several awards for its outstanding research and development achievements.
Integration description
This integration is developed and maintained by Tanlock.
The integration between AEOS and TANlock allows to setup the IP-based TANlock 3 server rack locks as a door device.
The physical access to the TANlock 3 door device can than be managed through the standard procedure of AEOS.
Upcoming door events are then logged in the event log of AEOS.
Key features
- User and credential management: users and credentials can be managed through AEOS. AEOS is the single point of truth.
- Monitoring: door events are directly logged in AEOS as other events.
- Process helper: The TANlock Management Center (TMC) allows the user to manage all TANlock specific helper tasks in TMC, like pre configuration of the reader part of TANlock 3
Non fuctionalities;
Not all events provided by TANlock are seen in AEOS. E.g. events for the handle position are ignored by AEOS.
