The integration between Mirasys VMS and Nedap AEOS access control creates a seamless security environment via Middleware. It directly links access events, like card usage or alarms, with video feeds, providing operators with full context without switching platforms.

Key features include automatic video verification displaying user data alongside footage to detect unauthorized access, and synchronized archive searching. This seamless solution enhances security, shortens operator response times, and simplifies management by combining video surveillance and access control into a single platform.

• Video event verification: Every access control event, such as opening a door with a card, can automatically trigger the camera feed assigned to that specific passageway. This allows the operator to instantly see who gained access and exactly when.
• Seamless work environment: Operators can manage both video monitoring and access control from a single interface, such as the VMS client. This completely eliminates the need to switch between separate systems.
• Enhanced security level: The system combines user data, such as their first name, last name, and card number, directly with the video feed. This enables the quick detection of unauthorized access attempts or situations where someone is using another person’s card.
• Improved incident analysis: During the analysis of any security event, the operator can simultaneously see the access control event details, the video recording, and the user’s ID data all in one place.
• Automated access point and archive handling: Cameras can be linked to specific passageways to automatically display footage during unauthorized entry attempts. Additionally, this feature allows for the automatic display of correlated camera views when searching through archived events.
