The challenge
Convenience combined with security
Emaar wanted an access control system capable of integrating several other technologies for its new Act One | Act Two residential development in Downtown Dubai. A key focus was providing convenience for tenants, visitors and contractors, while maintaining high levels of safety and security. And Emaar wanted to do this by enabling the use of digital IDs and QR codes via its Emaar One smartphone app, and through integration with systems such as visitor and parking management.
What they did
Flexible, integrated control
By installing an AEOS access control system, Emaar created a flexible platform that enabled it to integrate a wide range of best-of-breed systems and products – from parking and visitor management to intrusion detection and fire alarms. Security combined with convenience begins as soon as vehicles drive up to the barrier or people arrive at a door and use their smartphone to enter. And events can be monitored easily with a birds-eye view of the building floor plan and visualised security status.
