The challenge
Futureproof access control
The university was looking to replace its existing access control set-up with a system that would allow digital IDs to be used. They wanted a futureproof system that can flex to their needs and has the proven capability to integrate with ID badge management and student information on their existing access control database. It was also important to be able to migrate this data to the new system with limited downtime.
What they did
An integrated setup
They installed AEOS access control because of its open architecture and high levels of flexibility. This allows them to support digital IDs held on smartphones with an integrated, on-premises solution. It’s also enabled them to establish easy integrations with multiple other systems too, including an ERP system, digital printing and a card issuance and management system.
