The challenge
Blending new with old
The ministry’s existing access control system lacked flexibility, which was causing integration issues with third-party systems. They wanted to use their existing infrastructure, including cards, readers, and more, with a new access control system. And they were looking for a scalable, flexible system that enables unification and connectivity across multiple locations. They also needed to integrate access control with their time and attendance and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. And wanted to provide QR code-based access for a seamless visitor experience.
What they did
High security yet open to integration
AEOS passed the Ministry of Energy’s rigorous cybersecurity assessment and was chosen for installation. Its open architecture and futureproof flexibility enable easy integration with the ministry’s existing access control infrastructure. As well as its time and attendance and ERP systems and the mobile application it built in house. NVITE multi-technology readers are integrated with speed gates for streamlined visitor access using QR codes.
