About Skanska Property

The challenge
High standards needed
Skanska Property Poland was looking for a high-quality physical access control system to help attract tenants and, ultimately, buyers to its High5ive commercial development in Krakow. This system not only had to provide a high level of security but the ability to integrate with a variety of third-party systems – and centralise them on one platform. These systems include visitor management, parking management and destination control for the lift system.
What they did
Seamless integrations achieved
Working with Nedap Poland, and Nedap partners Urkom and Umbitious, Skanska implemented AEOS access control at one of the High5ive buildings, initially. And then a further two based on the success of the first implementation. Urkom is part of Nedap’s certified channel partner network and Umbitious is a software expert experienced in AEOS integrations. As AEOS is based on open standards, the team was able to achieve all the seamless third-party integrations Skanska was looking for.
Key benefits
Security centralised on one system

- Streamlined traffic flow improves convenience for employees and visitors.
- Increased security as it’s possible to control which floors people travel to.
- Pre-registration for visitors enables a warm, professional welcome.
- All events are captured in one place and can be easily translated into reports.
