The challenge
Strategic shift to the cloud
Zicht made a strategic shift, transitioning its entire IT infrastructure to a fully cloud-based system. As part of its cloud-first strategy, Zicht prioritized SaaS (Software as a Service). This decision was driven by three needs: scalability, flexibility, and reduced technical maintenance.
While AEOS, the on-premises access control solution from Nedap, had proven to be robust and reliable, what Zicht needed more, was to follow through on their strategy to move to cloud. They also wanted to reuse as much of their existing hardware and equipment.
