About Thales Cogent FRP
Thales– Cogent is one of the world leaders in biometrics implementations. It has more than 200 deployments in more than 80 countries worldwide. Thales Cogent has extensive experience leveraging multiple biometrics for customers around the world with successful biometric system implementations for national- and state-level customers.
The integration between AEOS and Thales Cogent Face Recognition Platform (FRP) is to grant a user physical access via facial recognition. The integration supports enrollment of user’s live image and authorize the access by comparing a live image with the one associated to a badge or by searching the live image against the database of enrolled photos. A friendly user interface shows access result to the end user. AEOS and FRP communicate via DIP over IP.
- Enhanced access control: End user can access the entrance with or without swiping the badge. Also, he can be recognized even when wearing a face mask.
- Friendly user interface: The interface provides visual feedback to the user about the access result or issue and provide guidance e.g. moving forward/backward for capturing a good live image.
- Scalability: FRP is scalable to any number of access control points and large watchlists
- Audit: FRP can output attendance report for further audit. Report is customisable per real needs.
