AEOS Intrusion
Intrusion functionality on your AEOS hardware
AEOS Intrusion brings intrusion detection and access control together in one AEOS environment. It enables organisations to use their existing AEOS hardware infrastructure to manage intrusion areas, detectors and alarm scenarios directly from AEOS.
This makes intrusion part of everyday access control workflows. For example, when an area is armed, AEOS can prevent access to that area — even for people who would normally be authorised to enter. The user first needs to disarm the area before access is granted. This helps reduce false alarms and supports a more predictable security process.
AEOS Intrusion is a strong choice for organisations that want a scalable, software-driven intrusion solution using AEOS Blue hardware. It is quick to extend, easy to manage and fits naturally into the way security teams already work with AEOS.
AEOS Intrusion with AEOS Blue hardware offers powerful intrusion functionality, but AEOS Blue hardware is not EN50131-certified as intrusion hardware. The phase-out document confirms that AEOS Intrusion functionality remains available and that AEOS Blue offers the same functionality, but is not EN50131 certified.
Certified intrusion hardware, controlled from AEOS
Some organisations already have intrusion hardware in place. Others are required to use EN50131-certified intrusion components because of regulations, insurance requirements or internal security policies.
For these situations, AEOS offers Integrated Intrusion: a way to connect AEOS with dedicated third-party intrusion systems such as Acre (SPC), Alphatronics (Unii) and Honeywell (Galaxy).
This gives customers the freedom to choose the intrusion hardware that fits their requirements, while keeping daily control within AEOS. Security teams can continue working from one platform, where access control and intrusion events come together in a clear and consistent way.
Integrated Intrusion is valuable in two scenarios:
- Reuse existing intrusion hardware:
Customers who already use supported intrusion panels can connect them to AEOS and make them part of their access control workflows. - Use certified intrusion hardware where required:
When EN50131-certified hardware is mandatory, customers can use dedicated certified intrusion solutions, such as Acre, Alphatronics or Honeywell, while still managing the interaction with access control through AEOS.
The result is a flexible approach: use AEOS Intrusion on AEOS Blue hardware where certification is not required, or choose Integrated Intrusion with certified third-party hardware where it is.
