AEOS 2023.1
Multiple improvements and increased functionality
This AEOS 2023.1 release introduces new developments on the user experience side as well as cybersecurity improvements, not to mention a key step towards sustainability goals.
Enhanced user experience for large systems
With this release, authorisation templates in the announce screen will only be shown based on the carrier type. So, you’ll only see authorisation templates belonging to a certain carrier type. This means it’s easier for you to assign your visitors their relevant access authorisations. From now on, welcoming your visitors will be even easier.
Easier importing for .CSV files
We all know that import and export functions are powerful tools to share relevant information with AEOS and third-party systems. With this in mind, we’ve made the import function easier and less prone to error. The .CSV import file in AEOS now contains a header row.
Improved cybersecurity through TLS 1.3 support
Our commitment to investing in the security of our products remains stronger than ever. This mean that keeping AEOS cybersecure is always a critical focus. It’s why we’ve implemented support to TLS 1.3. With this latest version of the TLS protocol, AEOS can stay on track with IT security standards.
Best security practices through DESFire functionality
You may already be aware that EV2 secure messaging is a function of the Mifare DESFire EV2 and EV3 badges. Although this function was already implemented for non-transparent card readers, with AEOS 2023.1, EV2 secure messaging has now been implemented for transparent card readers as well.
One small step for lockers, one real step towards sustainability
Last, but certainly not least, our AEOS lockers are now equipped with an option for saving energy. When your offices are not being used, your lockers will go into energy save mode—utilizing up to 75% less energy than it would when your workspaces are open and active. Everyone wins with reduced energy consumption!
