AEOS 2024.1

Introducing Nedap Mobile Access

This latest AEOS 2024.1 release introduces Nedap Mobile Access, complementing AEOS access control solutions by extending access control to mobile devices.

Nedap Mobile Access – Apple Wallet-3

Self-provisioning of mobile passes in the Apple Wallet

Using the free Nedap Mobile Access app downloaded from the Apple App Store, carriers can create their mobile pass and add it to their Apple Wallet. Once their mobile pass has been added to the Apple Wallet, the Nedap Mobile Access app can be deleted from the device.

Use your own app to add mobile passes to the Wallet

Alongside the Nedap Mobile Access app, there’s an SDK that allows organisations to integrate with their own iOS applications.

Possibility of Express Mode or 2FA Mode

With Express Mode as default, there’s no need to wake or unlock Apple devices to gain access. All you need to do is tap your Apple device to a compatible reader. However, this can be overruled at specific entrances. Secure areas can be configured to require Two Factor Authentication (2FA) at all times (even if users have enabled Express Mode). More about mobile access security here.

Integrate Mobile Access into your HR system

Enabling carriers for mobile access can be set up via SOAP, where you’re also provided status details and mobile enrolment via 3rd party applications like PIAM systems.

Extra benefits for the user experience

Power Reserve gives you up to 5 hours of mobile pass use even after the device battery is empty. And pass design allows your organisation’s brand to shine today, and whenever your branding needs updating.
